STAY CALM IN YOUR HEART... AND CARRY ON! Having experienced trouble in His own life, the Lord Jesus knows that we all have trouble. He was not rebuking a lack of faith when He said, " Don't let your heartbe troubled, " but He was offering a reasoned alternative. Jesus promises a place, apurposeand a plan all dependent on His person. Your troubled heart should be calmed by the assurance that He is able to do all that He has promised you. Your part is to confidently act on His promises.

Obituary

GeorgeAnthony Canady was born in Emanuel Co., Swainsboro Ga. on May 28,1970,to the late Otis Canady Jr. and the late Betty Jean Spikes Canady. He departed his life on September 19, 2021. He was one of eight children. George was raised by his late Great Aunt, Dora Wilchard and late Great Uncle, George Wilchard in Swainsboro, Ga. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. George later moved toNortheastToccoa, Ga and became a member ofCross RoadsBaptist Church where he sung with the United in Christ Male Chorus. After a few years, George found himself back in South Ga working for C.L. Barrett Service Station in Midway Ga. He then moved his Church membership to New Zion Baptist Church of Riceboro Ga. George was a gentle giant. Heloved his family, loved tolaughand joke around and mainly, singing. Any chance he got he would sing for anyone who would want to listen. He did it for the love of their reaction. Most importantly, he loved singing for the Lord.

George was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles EdwardCanadyand Jonas Lee Canady Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Chris Berry of Savannah Ga., Deondre "DJ" Canady of Hinesville Ga.,wife,Bennie Robinson of North Carolina, four sisters, Damita (Stanley) Swanigan of St. Louis, IL, Marchelle (James) Hill of Hinesville Ga., Barbara (Larry) Shuemake of Virginia Beach, Va. and Betty (William) Ross of Bristol Fl., one brother, Otis Canady 3rdof Toccoa Ga., one Aunt, Pearl(Thomas)Boykin of Swainsboro Ga., four uncles, Martin Spikes Sr. of Virginia, J BarnesRemingtonof Decatur, Ga, Raymond Spikes of Texas and a very special uncle, Chester Lee Barrett of Midway Ga., Seven nieces, Marichelle, Capricia, Brandy, Yolanda, Shaniqua, Oteasa and Alexis;Eightnephews,Jonas Jr, Antwon, Larry, Juan, Demetrius, Darrick, Tevin andAmarious; Ahost of grand nieces,nephews, family and friends. A very special family who has been instrumental in his life, John (Gloria) McIver and family.
