Eunice Lee

On July 25, 1932, Eunice Lee Fleming was
born to the late Mary Ellen Fleming and
George Martin, Sr.
On October 14, 2024, God called His
precious child home. She was united
in holy matrimony to the late Eddie
Lee Fleming. Her sisters, Dorothy Mae
Baker, Elouise Barrett; brother, George
Martin, Jr. and a grandchild, Ireba Lyons
preceded her in death.
Eunice was a native of Liberty County,
Georgia and attended Liberty County
Public Schools. After 30 years of service,
Eunice retired fro Liberty County School
System in 1994.
Eunice was a member of Riceboro
Missionary Baptist Church. She was a
faithful and dedicated member of the
Usher Board and the kitchen supervisor.
Anyone who knew her, knew Eunice loved
cooking, planting flowers, sewing, but
most of all, when you saw her, Eunice was
so comical and direct. Her personality
and character made you laugh and smile.
She loved her family and gave herself-
services to others,
In her memories, Eunice leaves three
loving children: Benjamin Fleming
(Gwendolyn) of Jacksonville, FL,
Lillie Mae Lewis of Jacksonville, FL
and Ponseitta Roberts of Midway,
GA; six grandchildren, twelve great
grandchildren, and twenty-nine great
great grandchildren, a host of nieces,
nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She took special care of Insukba, Iloma,
Desenee, Kyria and Calvin Jones, Jr.
