Obituary

Elaine Sandra Lambert, entered into this world on February 26, 1960 to the late Dea. Albert Lambert and the late Sis. Irie Lee Lambert. Elaine entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Lambert, Jr., Eugene Lambert, God-brother Michael Barrett and nephew Anthony Lambert.

At an early age, Elaine joined First Anderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Through her many years of service, she served as a choir leader and financial clerk. She loved serving the Lord and dedicating her time to the success of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Association's Black Tie Gala.

Elaine was educated in the Liberty County School System and graduated in 1978 from Bradwell Institute. Upon graduating, she attended Savannah State University. Elaine began her career at Woodland Healthcare as a CNA and eventually joined the office staff as administrative assistant and Human Resources. She dedicated over 25 years to serving the elderly until her health failed in 2019.

Elaine loved traveling and staying on the go with family and friends. She served as Past Worthy Matron of Valentine Chapter #294 Order of the Eastern Star, John A. Robinson Senior Most Royal Grant Court of Cyrene Crusaders Evelyn M. Bennett Court #3, Past Most Ancient Matron
of Wilhelmina H. Parrish Most Ancient Grand Court Heroines of Jericho Lady Esther Court #3, and member of AEAONMS Amman Court #195 Oasis of Darien Desert of Georgia. Elaine always participated in donating school supplies, raising funds for scholarships, and volunteering her time through community service. She enjoyed the sisterhood and doing community work with the organization.

Elaine leaves to cherish her memories: her brother Walter (Leola) Lambert of Riceboro, GA; sisters: Leola (Henry) McKally of Miami, FL and Yvonne Lambert of Riceboro, GA; uncle Albert Roberts of Miami, FL; aunts: Berdie Stevens of Atlanta, GA, Ellen Paul of Miami, FL, Annie Ash and Sadie Roberts both of Riceboro, GA; God-brothers: Minister Richard Barrett (Emma) and Jerard (Crystal)Roberts both of Riceboro, GA; God-son Jerry Sapp of Midway, GA; God-daughters Tanisha and Tahira Davis both of Savannah, GA; loving best friend Cheryl Worlds, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
