Eddie was born and raised in Macon, Ga on September 27th, 1953 to the late Reverend Clifford Walter 'CW' Williams and the late Mable Williams. Eddie, along with his siblings, received Christ at an early age. He attended and graduated from Southwest High School in 1972. Eddie did a brief tour in the United States Navy and in August 1976 he transitioned into the United States Army, where he received many honors and medals for his service. He then retired as Master Sergeant in August 1998. After his retirement from the military, he obtained an associates degree in culinary arts from Savannah Technical College. He began working for Wolf Management and after several years of service he retired. Eddie was very laid back but, hard working and enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, traveling, and attending church.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Reverend CW Williams, mother Mable Williams, four brothers: Reverend Charlie Williams, John T. Williams, David Williams, Robert Williams, and sister Thelma Williams.

He leaves to cherish his beloved wife of 41 years, Mrs. Sandra Williams of Hinesville, Ga. Two daughters, Ashley(Cedric) Perry, Ebony(Chad) Relaford of Midway, Ga. Two grandsons JaVonte LeCounte and Cedric Perry Jr., both of Hinesville, Ga. six siblings: Mable(Clarence) Robertson of Brooklyn, Ny, Josephine Jackson, of Mableton, Ga., Nathaniel Williams, of Orlando, Fla., Theodore Williams, of Atlanta, Ga., Rosa(Garfield) Fobbs, of Ft. Valley, Ga., and Linda(James Powell Jr.) of Macon, Ga., a Mother-in-love, Lucille Connor of Pensacola, Fla., along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and loved ones.
