Delores Chapman (aka&MsDee) was born in Kinston, NC on Jan 1, 1952 to the lateWilfertL. ChapmanSr. and Rosa B. Moore Chapman on the morning of February 10, 2023. She was called home to be with the Lord.

Delores was the third of eight children. She was educated through Lenoir County, NCand Kings County, NY. She loved children, cooking, crafting, cleaning, eating, entertaining and her family. She loved fashion and teaching all of her nieces and nephews. She relocated to Charlotte, NC then to Hinesville, GA. She embraced her family and friends.

She worked as a chef at an assisted living facility for eight years in Charlotte, NC. She loved all the residents and always got in trouble for not following the instructed menu. She always gave more food than she was authorized to give.As she stated"If the people are hungry why can't I feed them". She then worked at Walmart for eleven years, beginning in Charlotte, NC transferring to Atlanta, then toJesup, GA where she then retired.

Delores was also preceded by her brothers Frank Moore Sr.,WilfertChapman Jr. (Angela Chapman), foster son Adam, the love of her life TimothyMccray, and grandsonErishonChapman Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her one and only sonErishon(Natasha) and grand-children Deja, Aniya,Takai. Step-mother Vera Chapman (Charlotte, NC). Siblings:VeraionChapman of Hinesville, GA, Larry Chapman (Denise) of Jacksonville, NC Monica Chapman of Charlotte, NC, Jerome Chapman (Sharon) Queens, NY and Regina Gray (Tamango) ofLudowici, GA. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
