Deacon Robert
Lee Bradwell, Sr.
December 5, 1932 – April 22, 2026
Deacon Robert L. Bradwell entered eternal Wednesday April 22, 2026, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Midway, Georgia. He was the only child born to Joseph and Ethel Akra Bradwell on December 5, 1932, in Riceboro, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Liberty County, Georgia.
At an early age he became a member of Second Anderson Grove Baptist Church. (later known as New Anderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church).
As a young adult he moved to Miami, Florida and was employed as a radio technician. While in Miami he was joined in holy matrimony to Miss Wilhelmina LeCount on July 5, 1966. After several years in Miami, he moved back to Riceboro and was employed with Union Camp located in McIntosh County, Georgia as a heavy equipment operate until he retired.
After Deacon Bradwell returned home, he reunited with New Anderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, initially serving as an usher, in 1978 he was ordained as a deacon and in 2012 selected as chairman deacon serving faithfully until his health declined.
God blessed Deacon Bradwell to live a long and very active life, he enjoyed the outdoors, loved animals and always busy being an entrepreneur with his various business ideas.
Deacon Bradwell's wife of 58 years Mother Wilhelmina Bradwell preceded him in death, son Robert L. Bradwell, Jr, and daughter Jessie LeCount-White preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn; two daughters Gabelyn (Johnny) Stevens, Jacqueline (Larry) Majette, Riceboro, Georgia; two adopted sons Anthony and Brandon Branch, Jacksonville Florida, Grandchildren; Juan and Van Stevens, Riceboro, Ga, Latica (Anthony) Battle, Sewell, NJ, Anisha and Tiffany Majette, Riceboro, Ga, Larry (Tania) Majette, Jr. Tulsa, Okla and Shakara LeCount, Owings Mills, Md. Eleven great grands, four great great grands. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
