David Demere Roberts, Sr. Was born June 15, 1955, in Hinesville Ga to the union of the late Lenard and Lula Roberts. David made his transition on September 28, 2024, in Hinesville, Ga.

David became a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in his early years.He graduated from Bradwell Institute class of 1973. After graduating he became an employee for Bradwell Institute as a cook. Later, in the years, he was also employed at Ft. Stewart. David, better known as "Bo Dilly", was loved by many and never met a stranger. We could always enjoy a good laugh when he was around, a new dance move, or that serious conversation if one was needed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, (three brothers) Willie Felton Roberts, Walter Lenard Roberts Jr., James Earl Roberts, (five sisters) Lillie Mildred Howard, Ida Mae George, Margie Osborne, Geraldine Jones, and Gwendolyn Lyles.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Debra Roberts, (one daughter) Dana Murphy, (three sons) David Demere Roberts Jr., James Lenard Roberts, Justin Jakeem Roberts. (three brothers) Albert Theron Roberts, Leon Calvin (Catherine) Roberts, Joseph Lamar (Lounette) Roberts. A sister that he adopted Tammy (Roscoe) Gaulden. His special cousin Gregory Evans. His grandchildren, Danayzha and Danillo Murphy.
