Mr. Lewis "Butch" Wynn Jr., a lifelong resident of Liberty County, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Lewis was born on June 12, 1946, to the late Margret Wynn and Lewis Wynn Sr. He was educated in the Liberty County School System and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, where he fought bravely in the Vietnam War.
After his military service, Lewis began a long and dedicated career at Union Camp, which later became International Paper, where he worked faithfully for over 40 years. Known for his strong work ethic and sense of humor, Lewis was respected and loved by his co-workers. He had a way of turning an ordinary day into a memorable one with his laughter and storytelling.

Lewis was united in marriage to Mrs. Deloris Wynn, his loving wife of 57 years. Together they built a strong, joyful family and shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion.

He was the proud father of five children: Terry Wynn (Michelle), James Wynn, Lamar Wynn (Angela), Janine Wynn, and his late son Draune Wynn, who preceded him in death. Lewis also leaves to cherish his memory his grandchildren: Jordan Wynn, Nyeia Wynn,  Lamar Wynn Jr., Adin Wynn,, Julien Grant, and Janelle Perry, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.

He is also survived by his siblings Alma (Leroy) O'Neal and Alonzo (Martha) Wynn, brother-in-law Lawrence (Tammie) Carter, sisters-in-law JoEtta Williams and Peggy (Andrew) Carter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Lewis, affectionately known as "Butch", was a man full of life and laughter, known for his generous heart and joyful spirit. He never met a stranger and could always be counted on for a good joke or a warm smile. His humor, kindness, and love for his family and community will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margret and Lewis Wynn Sr., and his beloved son, Draune Wynn.
