Our Condolences to the family of Mr. Clarence David.&

Clarence B. David, Sr. was born on October 17, 1936 in Golden Groove, Guyana to loving parents, William David and Lena Evelyn David. He departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the age of 84, surrounded by his beloved family in the comfort of his home in Hinesville, Georgia.

Clarence met the love of his life, YvonneBobband on December 28, 1957 they were married. This union was blessed with three sons and three daughters. Clarence was a very hard worker and provider for his family. He loved to cook and was very good at it.

At an early age Clarence worked at the Bauxite Company in Golden Groove, Guyana. In 1980 the family left Guyana and moved to New York City, New York where he worked at Lawrence Nursing Home and Peninsula Hospital until retiring in 2005.

Clarence and Yvonne relocated to Hinesville, Georgia in 2005. They joined the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under thepastoralshipof Bishop M.L. Jackson shortly after arriving.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Errol David; grandsons, Brandon David and Bradford Stokes; beloved sister, Maureen David; great-great grandsons, PeterGrandison, Jr., Wayne Stewart, III and Derrick Sims.

To cherish his memories, Clarence leaves behind his beloved wife of sixty-five (65) years, Yvonne David; three daughters, Carol (Colin) Rodriguez, Mickey (Clendile) Nurse and Angela (Allen) Davis; two sons, Clarence (Rovoanda) David, Jr., and Carlton (Michelle) David, Sr.; twenty (20) grandchildren; twenty-six (26) great-grandchildren; one brother, Frederick David; and one sister, Amy Johnson.
