Charlotte Darlington, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Charlotte was born on May 5, 1939, in Rome Georgia. She was the only child of Jane Colbert Allen.

Charlotte moved to New York City when she was twenty years old looking for opportunities to improve her life. &She enjoyed the city and took advantage of the opportunities she found there.After many years in New York, Charlotte relocated to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.She met and married Jim Darlington in Pittsburg.

Charlotte took classesand became a nurse's assistant in Pennsylvania. She had discovered her purpose in life. Charlotte worked as a private duty nurses' assistant for about 25 years.She developedloving and caring relationships with the clients she served.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Jane, and her husband, Jim.Survivorsinclude her daughterand son inlaw, JaniceandJimmy Stewart of Hinesville, Georgia, and her son,Jeffery Stewart, of Rome, Georgia.Other survivors include grandchildren andgreat grandchildren as well as many friends and extended family members who loved her.
