Carolyn Denice Fabian Pierce was born on August 17, 1972, in Hinesville, GA, to Mary M. Fabian and the late Clarence Fabian. She attended Bradwell Institute and graduated class of 1990. She received her Associates Degree from Savannah Technical College as a Licensed Practical Nurse in July 2004 and her Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Ogeechee Technical College in November 2017. She was employed at Dorchester Funeral Home for the last five years and received recognition as the first Black Female Licensed Embalmer in Liberty County.

A Time to Die:

Carolyn Denice Fabian Pierce departed this life on November 11, 2022, at Liberty Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her daughter Anastasia Zeigler, father Clarence Fabian Jr., brothers Craig Fabian and Eric Fabian, grandmothers Genevia Martin and Leola Fabian, and grandfathers Ed Martin and Clarence Fabian Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 12 years, Honorable Reginald L. Pierce Sr. (Midway, GA), her mother Mary M. Fabian (Hinesville, GA), her son Anthony D. Bryant (Hinesville, GA), daughter Tytiana S. Miller (Hinesville, GA), stepchildren Shundrekia Taylor (Warner Robins, GA), Shanesse Sanford (Midway, GA), and Reginald L. Pierce Jr. (Midway, GA), goddaughter Laila Martin (Hinesville, GA), grandchildren A'nyla Bryant, Aryianna Bryant, and Prince Bryant (Hinesville, GA), one step-grandchild Yan-Pierre Parrilla Jr. (Warner Robins, GA), one brother Clarence F. Fabian (Camisha) (Hinesville, GA), four sisters Dianne Childers (David) (Hinesville, GA), Jennifer Newton (Hinesville, GA), Daphne Tomlin (William Sr.) (Ellenwood, GA), and Tonya F. Grant (Eddie) (McDonough, GA), brothers-in-love Reginald Sheftall Jr. (Ludowici, GA), Jonthan Boney (Hinesville, GA), Darrian Stacy (Annapolis, MD), sisters-in-love Raquell Johnson (Hinesville, GA) and Kadaja Mungin (Jacksonville, FL), father-in-law Lee L.M. Pierce Sr. (Linda) (Midway, GA), and one brother-in-law Lee Pierce Jr. (Vivian) (Sandersville, GA), a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
