Ms. Candace Deboráh Rentz, departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 26, 2022, at her home in Hinesville, Georgia. With the love and laughs she left behind, she will surely be missed by her family.
Candace was born May 14, 1985, in Gainesville, Florida to the late Bobby Al Rentz and Ellanor Thomas.
Candace received her early education in the Alachua County School System in Gainesville, Florida and was a 2003 graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School in Savannah, Georgia.
Candace loved sports; her favorite football team was the Florida Gators. She also enjoyed watching YouTube music videos. She enjoyed eating seafood and one of her favorite places to eat was Ole Times Country Buffet. Most importantly, Candace gave her life to Christ at an early age and later became a member of First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Ushers Ministry and served as secretary. She worked on the Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraising Committee and attended most programs and services at the church where she offered a helping hand wherever needed.
Candace was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Al Rentz.
Candace is survived by her loving mother, Ellanor Thomas of Hinesville, GA; three sisters, Ashley Lillie of Hinesville, GA, Ayajah Manuel, and Karen Rentz of Gainesville, FL; one brother, Kevin Rentz of Gainesville, FL; Maternal grandmother, Grace Louise Thomas; Paternal grandparents, Annie Pearl Rentz and Levi Rentz of Gainesville, FL; Godparents, Christina and John Grady of Atlanta, GA, Godmother, Pastor Gwendolyn Williams of Brundidge, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
