Calvin Edward Williams (Shine)

Calvin was a devoted, loving father to three children and four grandchildren. He was a beloved member of his family and active in his community. Calvin passed away into eternal rest on March 02, 2026.

His guidance, gentle wisdom, and steady presence have shaped the lives of his children.
He found his happiness in Christ and his children. He gave his life to God and was baptized
under Pastor Jeremiah Dudley's leadership at New Life Tabernacle of Faith Inc. Calvin had
a heart of gold; he would give anything for his family, and he was a present, silent help,
never boastful. His memory will SHINE on through his children.

Calvin Edward Williams was born to the late Mr. Shellman & Beryl R. Williams, on
December 24, 1960. Calvin was educated in the Liberty County School system. He
graduated from the class of 1978. Calvin worked with Sommers Oil Company for 21 years
before retiring on December 24, 2025.  He had three brotherswho preceded him in death:
William Jerome Byrd, Sinclair Williams, and Alex Williams. He had three sisters who
Preceded him in death, Willie Mae Miller, Annette Pulley, and Mary Lee Quinones.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Calvin Shontel Chipp (Tiffany), Calvin
E. Williams, Jr., & Mashaylia A. Williams; Four Grandchildren Calvin Shontel Chipp Jr., Sage
Williams, Noelle Williams, and Mayvion Williams.  He has one brother, Warren Leon
Williams (Gracia) and one sister, Edna Blige (Johnnie). He has a special niece, Wannette L. Williams-
Smith and nephew Warren Leon Williams II. Calvin had a life partner, Courtney Wrenfroe,
A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.Calvin will be truly missed.
