Obituary


Beverly Denise Stewart, daughter of James Henry Stewart, and the late Barbara Halback was born in Washington, DC on March 26th, 1965. She attended high school at Burdick Vocational high school and took classes at Strayer University.&
While residing in Washington, DC, she worked jobs in healthcare, retail, and tourism. Her most memorable job was at Old time trolly tour mobile services. Where she sold tours to view the historic Arlington National cemetery. She relocated to Hinesville, GA in the early 1990's to care for her grandmother. While here she worked in retail, telemarketing, and warehousing.
Niecy, as many called her was a friend to all. She was always there to lend an helping hand, words of encouragement, or shoulder to lean on. Her superpowers were definitely compassion, love, forgiveness, and patience.
Niecy, departed this life on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 in Savannah, GA after a brave and tough battle in illness.
She was preceded in death by: loving mother, Barbara Halback, son Johnathan, nephew Deonte Farrah and sister Shante Halback.
Ms.Stewart leaves to mourn her passing, two children: Shamika Roberts (William) and Mionna Green, grandchildren: Anquan and Felton Roberts, father, James Stewart, step father, Henry Halback, brother and sisters: James G. Stewart, Daphne Stewart, and Kim Halback, and long time companion Micheal J. Green. Also included in the mourning of her passing are a host of friends, relatives, and in-laws.
