It is with great sadness that the family of Bernice Robertson announce his passing on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the age of 95. Bernice was born May 1, 1925 in Midway (McIntosh), Georgia. He was the first born son of the late Elder Peter and Mary Ethel Jones Robertson. He retired from Century Link (formerly Costal Utility) in 1986. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lenora Holmes Robertson, 3 daughters - Ola Mae and Mary Ann Robertson and Annie Lee Harden; daughter-in-law Ellerie Robertson, son-in-law Henry Johnson; sisters Amy Brown Mitchell, Sannie Mae Roberts and Gladys Severe; brothers - Jasper, William, Marion and Peter Robertson, Jr. He is survived by 4 sons - Harry (Willie Mae), Burnes Jr. (Patricia), Randy (Donna), Steven (Brenda) Robertson; 5 daughters - Juanita Johnson, Luvina (Pernell) Harden, Debra Lewis, Caroline and Jennifer Robertson; 1 brother - E.J. Robertson and 3 sisters - Lenora Gadson, Erie Hendry and Shirley Robertson; 1 grandson Khristopher (Erica) Collins, whom he raised; 35 grands, 61 great grands, 14 great great grands, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
