Obituary


Benny Louis Carter Jr. was born on January 20, 1981 to Benny L. Carter Sr. and Sarah F. Carter.
&While his father was serving in the Army, Ben was born in Neuburg, Germany and later experienced his childhood in Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. and Hinesville, GA.
He grew up with one sibling which he called his favorite sister, Kimyatta Carter. He's survived by the mother of his children and partner, Belicia Anderson Carter and his three heartbeatstheir children, Jacey Carter, Cori Carter, and Benny L, Carter III. He's also survived by his maternal grandparents Luke and Mary Johnson of Valdosta, GA. He's preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Della Mae and Joe T. Carter. He leaves behind many uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, and other extended family who love and adore him.
Ben was an extremely talented and radiant spirit. While living in Hinesville during his youth, he was heavily involved in basketball at school as well as local recreational leagues. He's also remembered for excelling in his musical abilities. He served as musician at his home church Baconton Missionary Baptist Church playing the drums and bass guitar. His mother is also a musician and they served together in several music ministry's around the community.If you handedhim an instrument, he was going to learn how to play it.


He had a go-getter attitude and was a hard worker who was always ready for his next challenge. The simplest pleasures in life such as cooking out on the grill and listening to music brought him a magnitude of joy. One of his greatest gifts in life was becoming a father. He later served in the U.S. Navy and was most recently a professional truck driver. He loved being out on the road and exploring the world. He's known for his eagerness to succeed, humor, and laid-back personality. His presence was quickly felt, and he will be forever missed by all that knew him.
