Psalms 121:1-2 Barbara Ann Walthour, age 64 passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at St Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born on August 17, 1956 to the late Leroy Walthour, Sr and to Gladys Maxwell Walthour. She was educated in the Liberty County School System. She was a proud graduate of the Bradwell Institute Class of 1974. Barbara was the 2nd sibling, the middle child of three, in the Walthour family. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Walthour, Sr and her brother Leroy Walthour, Jr. She was a member of Thebes A.M.E. Church in Midway, Georgia. She served as at Steward, Missionary, Program Chairperson, Pastor Aide President, and Stewardess. Ann fellowshipped and supported many other churches and ministries. Barbara attended Armstrong State College and Brunswick Community College where she received her RN Degree. She worked for various medical facilities but retired from St. Joseph Hospital after more than 25 years of service. She leaves to mourn her departure her mother, Gladys Walthour; her son, Thaddeus Walthour; her brother, Benjamin (Josephine) Walthour; her grandson, Olando Walthour; her sister in law, Regenia Walthour; her aunts, Ophelia Qualls and Willie Mae Robinson; her uncles, Johnnie Walthour and Willie John Walthour; her nieces and nephews, CharRhonda Walthour, Jabari Dequan (Stephanie) Walthour, De Andre Ford, DeVontae Ford, DeShawn Ford, De Angelo Walthour, Jabari Walthour, Jr, Steffen Dean Walthour and Jaria Ariel Mitchell; Ann's godchildren are Devan J. Smith, Brandon Walthour and Imari Brown. Barbara had many friends and relatives who were like sisters to her. She also leaves behind an extensive family who loved her and she loved them. We are practicing social distancing and mask are required.
