The son of the late Willie and Annie (Thomas) Wilson on August 24, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Stanton High School and enlisted in the United States Army. During his time in the Army, he received numerous awards and commendations for his 22 years of service. Prior to leaving for service in the Army, Mr. Wilson married Lottie Beatrice Hardnett and are the proud parents of three beautiful children. Mr. Wilson worked for the Group Chemetall located in Riceboro, GA for 22 years and became known to many as "Mr. Nate". Mr. Wilson loved to spend time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, fishing, and playing cards.

Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his wife Lottie Beatrice (Hardnett) Wilson and his parents Willie Lee and Annie (Thomas) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson leaves to cherish his memories his three children, Teresa L. Tillman, Nathan J. Wilson (Ebonie), and Christopher G. Wilson: his grandsons Terai A. Tillman, Tyre-Joshua Tillman, Ajani T. Wright, Christopher T. Wilson; his granddaughters, Taina J. Tillman, Aaliyah L. Wilson, Kaiya L. Wilson and Isabella A. Wilson; his brothers and sister, Willie Lee Wilson (Pat), James Wilson (Clarice), Edward Wilson, Steven Wilson and Ann Williams (Bernard); in-laws Joe Lee Hardnett (Fannie), Nellie
Ruth Higgins (Ernest), Minnie Pearl Laney (James), Charles Hardnett (Bonnie), Douglas Hardnett (Cathy), and Randy Hardnett (Brenda).
