Angela "Ann" Kollock (Loyd) was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on July 17 th , 1962, to her mother and best friend, Nancy (Loyd) Powell and her biological father, Roosevelt Meekins.

In her early years, she split her time between Clio, South Carolina, where she enjoyed visiting her family, and New York City, where she lived with her mother Nancy, her father, Jake Powell, her brother Jake Powell Jr. (who preceded her in death), and her sister Sabrina (Powell) Adkinson.

Her heart was split between South Carolina and New York City. She loved music and dancing, and was good at sports, always challenging someone to basketball or a race. She graduated from Springfield Gardens High School in Queens, NY, in 1980. After returning to South Carolina, she met the man she would eventually marry and start a family with.

She was married to Ronnie Jerome Kollock Sr. for 23 years. Her marriage produced her two children, whom she loved, Ronnie "Raheen" Jerome Kollock Jr. and Pernice Shante Kollock.

Ann accepted Christ and was baptized early in life but reestablished her covenant with the church in August of 2013. Angela was a member of Freedom Worship Center, in Hinesville GA under the guidance of Reverend Tom Johnson for over 20 years.

Our Beloved Angela "Ann" Kollock entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 3rd , 2024, at 12:46am at St. Joesph Hospital in Savannah Georgia. She was surrounded by her family in comfort as she departed this life.

Preceding her in death are her grandmother, Theresa (Palmer) Loyd and her brother, Jake Powell Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; her son, Ronnie "Raheen" (Shanquana) Jerome Kollock Jr. and daughter, Pernice Shante Kollock both of High Point, NC. Her grandchildren; A'mani, Kamari, J'Vaela, Jayceon, Summer, Journee, Keenan, and Kalani all of High Point, NC. Her parents, Nancy and Jake Powell both from Midway GA. Her sister, Sabrina Shante (Derrick) Adkinson, from Dumfries, VA, Two Nieces and Two Nephews, Latoya McRae of Bennettsville, SC, Jasmine Nicole Powell Bennett of Lexington, NC, Derrick Levar Adkinson Jr and Isaiah Omari Adkinson both from Dumfries, VA. Five aunts, four uncles, and a host of cousins, other family and friends.
