Andrew Anthony Gordon, a devoted husband, proud father, and kind-hearted soul, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 23, 2023. Born on October 21, 1961, in Kingston, Jamaica, Andrew's life was filled with love, service, and a deep commitment to his family and country.

Andrew's service journey began in the Army, where he dedicated 24 years to defending and protecting his nation. With unwavering loyalty and dedication, he rose to the rank of Sergeant First Class, earning the respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers. After retiring from the Army, Andrew continued his selfless service to the country he loved, working diligently for the USDA and contributing his skills and expertise to better his nation.

Above all, Andrew cherished his role as a total girl dad. He was a constant pillar of support and love to his daughters, providing guidance and encouragement as they navigated life's challenges. Andrew firmly believed in the power of education and was committed to his personal growth. He earned a post-graduate degree a Master's of Business Administration—and ensured that his daughters also had the opportunity to pursue and obtain their post-graduate degrees. Andrew's devotion to their education and success was unwavering, serving as an inspiring role model for them throughout their lives.

Andrew found joy and solace in his garden, spending countless hours tending to its beauty and finding peace among nature's wonders. The soothing rhythms of old-school reggae music echoed through his days, bringing him a sense of nostalgia and happiness. Andrew's culinary talents were also renowned, as he poured love and creativity into every meal he prepared for his family. Cooking was his way of nurturing their hearts and creating lasting memories around the dinner table.

The kindness that radiated from Andrew's soul knew no bounds. He was a compassionate and caring individual who consistently went above and beyond to care for his immediate and extended family. Andrew's selflessness and generosity touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him, leaving an enduring legacy of love and compassion.

Andrew Anthony Gordon leaves behind a wealth of cherished memories that will forever be held dear by his beloved wife, Noreen Gordon; his daughters, Dionne (Saleem) Mitchner, Tameka Stedford, Micaela (John) Thomas, and Ovellavett Coleman; his granddaughter's Shaquila Ramirez and Shantal Mitchner, and his great-granddaughter, Jordan Ramirez. He is also survived by his mother, Gloria Gordon; his aunt, Pamela Craig; his brother, Mark (Jackie) Gordon; his sister, Sandra Gordon-Jackson; and his nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
