Allen Jefferson, 74, suffered a stroke in 2014. Despite the pain Allen, stayed strong until the being called to be with our Lord in the late evening of June 6, 2023.

Allen was born on August 5, 1948 in Columbus, GA. As a young man, Allen enjoyed traveling, destining to Miami, California, Texas, etc. Eventually, Allen settled in Hinesville, GA with his wife, Dorothetta Stephens and kids. Allen had a various amount of jobs throughout his life, ranging from cement fishing to food service. He also found time to attend and graduate from Brewton-Parker College. In his spare time, Allen enjoyed gardening and collecting old records/ antiques. Back in the day, Allen loved catching you off -guard with a quick polaroid. One of Allen's best qualities was his superb integrity for appearance. He loved to upkeep his appearance with smells and outfits whether gardening or driving around.

Allen is survived by his wife Dorothetta Stephens and their 3 children, Christopher Freeman (34), Gregory Jefferson (27), Jasmine Jefferson (26), and their grandchildren, Jaiya and grandson on the way. He was also survived by a number of nephews and nieces, Robert Allen Edwards, Deloris Adams- Richardson, Veronica Hamlette, Tawarna Drake, Celesta Otieno, Sunny Battle, Kenya "Jazz" Edwards, Brandon Bell.

Allen was also predeceased by his parents, Celeste Mack and Allen Jefferson Sr, and his siblings, Eddie Mae Edwards, Sandra Faye Jackson, and Eddie Battle.
