Holloween Tooke Obituary


Holloween B. Tooke, 81, of Kansas City, MO, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by loving family at the home of her
granddaughter in Midway, GA.
She was born on February 6, 1940 to Mattie Ree Moore and Theus
Brown in Ringgold, LA
Holloween was joined in holy matrimony to Joe Tooke, Jr. on
December 14, 1958 and they had one son, R. Anthony Tooke.
Holloween professed her love for Christ at an early age while
attending St. Luke Baptist Church #1 in Ringgold, LA. She was
a member of Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City,
MO under Order of Merit Reverend Julius Rambo, Sr. until his
retirement, and continued under Pastoral Care of Reverend
Rickey D. Rambo. She faithfully served on the usher board until
her decline in health.
Holloween was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and
sisters Eloise Moore and Dorothy Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son: R. Anthony Tooke;
sisters: Audrey Byersand Theola Jarrett; brother: Reverend William
Eric Jackson, Sr. (Donna); three grandchildren: Casandra Stewart
(Charles), Matthew Daniels (Laura) and Anthony J. Tooke; seven
great grandchildren: Deriah Drew (Stephon), Charles Stewart,
Jr., Honesti Stewart, Charli Stewart, Deztine Stewart, Kimora
Daniels, and Matthew Daniels, Jr.; one great great grandson: Zion
Delphonse and a host of additional family and friends to include
special niece Shonda Marshall, special nephew Corey Jackson,
special aunt Athalean Johnson, special cousin Clementine Young
and her dearest friend Clydia Locke.
